Expert Tips

Expert Tips

Glassware Tip

Use a large ice cube or sphere instead of regular ice. It melts slower, providing proper dilution without watering down your drink too quickly.

Fresh Citrus Tip

Always squeeze fresh citrus juice rather than using bottled. Roll the fruit on the counter before cutting to release more juice, and strain out seeds and pulp for a smoother drink.

Egg White Technique

For the silkiest foam, use the "dry shake" method: shake without ice first to emulsify the egg white, then add ice and shake again. This creates a luxurious, creamy texture.

Did You Know?

Rum production began in the Caribbean in the 17th century, making it one of the oldest commercial spirits in the Americas.
